Situated on a hilltop, amongst the fields and vineyards of the famous Jurancon wine region, the farmhouse overlooks the distant Pyrenees mountains and offers 360degree views over the local countryside. Imagine sitting on your terrace overlooking the Pyrenees mountains on a warm summers evening enjoying a glass of local Jurancon wine as the sun goes down and all you can hear are the buzzards crying high above, whilst you contemplate whether to have a BBQ and eat those goodies bought at the local market, to adjourn to local restaurant, or take advantage of the deluxe evening dinners offered on your terrace or in the 17th century formal dining room.
The farmhouse is offered for both self catering holidays and for catered short breaks (outside high season).
Short catered breaks provide you the accommodation of the house, but with the convenience of 4 course evening meal with wine and beer all included, served in the large 17th century dining room of the adjoining property and a hearty breakfast giving you more time to enjoy your short break.

The area offers mountains, sea and historic towns. Close at hand are Lucq de Bearn, Monein, Navarrenx offering restaurants, local produce markets, banks, shops and supermarkets. The elegant cities of PAU (25mins)and BIARRITZ (60mins) provide wide choice of restaurants, busy cafes and events such as the Historic PAU Grand Prix, the modern Grand Prix (Pau-formula 3000),3 Day International Pau Horse Show, the Marciac Jazz festival, the Jurancon wine festival, mid-summer music festivals. There is excellent skiing in winter and surfing in summer (European championships held at Biarritz).
