PAU 3 Day Event Horse Show, known locally as LES ETOILES DE PAU, is held each year in late October at the competition ground in the elegant and historic city of PAU, SW France.

This is one of only 6 worldwide events at 4 star level, the others being Badminton & Burghley (both UK), Luhmuhen (Germany), Kentucky (USA) and Adelaide, Australia. The date for 2008 is 22 - 26 OCTOBER 2008. Wednesday and Thursday are practise days, Friday is the dressage, Saturday the cross country, Sunday the showjumping.

There is a 2 star, 3 day event and an endurance event running concurrently which are all covered by the same entrance ticket.

This horse event held in Pau attracts many top international riders, but is much less crowded and commericalised than venues such as Badminton.  Frenchman, Nicolas Touzaint , is the current holder of the competition title.

THE PACKAGE & PRICING FOR 2008

Farmhouse accommodation, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for your group is based on 4 nights accommodation from Thursday until Monday after breakfast, but can be extended if desired.

The farmhouse is stocked with all basics such as loo rolls, towels, soap, tea, coffee, milk etc. The package includes:

Hearty Farmhouse Breakfast including eggs, ham, cheese, homemade preserves, orange juice, cereals and breads to have in the farmhouse kitchen.

4 course luxury dinner with wines/beer and soft drinks each evening made from local produce and served in the formal 17th century dining room of the adjacent property.

We provide information on event and nearby free parking (avoiding the long queues for buses) and we offer meal times to suit your party.
